Jason Calacanis, the CEO of Weblogs, Inc and General Manager of Netscape.com will launch his new podcast – CalacanisCast this November with PodTech Network and GoDaddy as his partners. The new weekly podcast program will feature his insights about new media and technology trends. Calacanis is will be also joined by his special guests to help CalcanisCast become a more fun and entertaining podcast show.

But the best thing or the noblest thing about this upcoming show is that CalcalanisCast has a philanthropic podcasting sponsorship model wherein all proceeds or revenues that will be generated by CalacanisCast will be for the benefit of young children. Calacanis intend to donate the podcast revenue to support the education of less privileged students of Bay Ridge Preparatory School. I wish CalcalanisCast all the best and I hope that there will be more podcast shows that will allocate some of their earnings for humanitarian purposes.
