After the acquisition plan announcement last 2006, LibSyn is now officially a subsidiary of Wizzard Media as Wizzard announced that the final merger agreement for the acquisition of podcasting company Webmayhem, Inc which is more commonly known as Liberated Syndication has been signed.
LibSyn is undisputed as one of the most prominent podcast distribution/hosting company in the industry today. Its growth was evidence by its large customer base who host their podcast shows under Libsyn for several years now. And with its acquisition, it is the hope of their clients that the qualities and the term of the services that they liked in LibSyn will not change much.
