Podcasters, media broadcasters and other social networkers who are involved or interested in monetizing their podcasts and other portable media contents are invited by the Association for Downloadable Media on its first in-person open forum during the PNME on September 28, 2007 at the Ballroom A of Ontario Convention Center, Ontario California.

This is a good opportunity to each one of us who would like to obtain in-depth information about the newly created organization that aims to provide industry standards in advertising and audience measurement for all kinds of downloadable media.

Some of the agenda of the open meeting is to talk about the goals of the ADM, its continued membership drive, committee formation action plans, first priority deliverables as an organization, potential membership benefits for podcasters, and the process for the nominations for board seats and committees.

The ADM membership is open to all podcasters; video podcasters, advertising agencies and companies providing hardware, services or tools to podcasters and social networkers. Currently, they have more than 50 publishers, agencies, vendors and metrics company members.

So if you are coming to the PNME this weekend, please join the people who are trying to make podcasting a more stable industry.
