It is always nice to hear the progression of any podcasting companies because it means that podcasting is becoming a more stable industry or should we say, segment of social broadcasting. And Podango is one of those podcasting companies that are continuously moving up by introducing new features on its network.
Podango recently acquired the Gigavox Audio Lite from Gigavox Media. The acquisition simply proves that the network is doing better and is trying to perfect its value added services by incorporating the GigaVox Audio Lite features and its capabilities to the P2 podcasting platform to automatically manage the different parts that make up an audio or video podcast that include ads, intros, promotions and other program material.
And shortly after the acquisition, a new weekly audio podcast, Girls Gone Geek was launched at the Podango Network. This new show is produced by Scott Bourne, the president of Podango Productions. So, I really do not buy those ideas saying that podcasting is coming to end.
